About The Artist

This is Seema Rao - the artist and creative director for SeeMacrame - a former actress and puppeteer in her late 60s who has spent the past two decades perfecting the art of handcrafted macrame art. She creates custom home decor pieces, has exhibited at various locations across India, and also conducts workshops to bring the lost art of macramé to a wider audience.
